Mr. Wimmer helps clients run their business from the initial formation and associated agreements through the sale of their business. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Wimmer ran a successful import and manufacturing company where he grew the company from mere $60,000 in yearly sales to over 13 million in yearly sales with over 200 hundred employees within a two year time frame. His unique background as a business man, real estate broker and attorney enable him to better understand his client’s real estate and business needs. He has aggressively represented client’s interests in State Court. He has extensive experience with evictions, sales and acquisitions, sale lease-back transactions, options, tax-free exchanges, secured transactions, property development and construction, commercial leasing, home owner’s association law, and title issues. Mr. Wimmer is an expert in the practical and legal problems associated with short sales and foreclosures. Mr. Wimmer is also a real estate broker. He joined the Salt Lake Board in 1988 and has taught agents and brokers classes for many years. Mr. Wimmer helps clients plan for the uncertain future. Much of his current practice involves a comprehensive approach to business and personal estate planning.
Mr. Wimmer obtained both his B.S. in Accounting and his J.D. from the University of Utah. He is a member of the American Bar Association’s Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
